Case study of Illinois State University's Office of Residential Life's facilities audit undertaken to help staff  analyze and adjust the university's existing capital renewal plan and assist in the reprioritization of maintenance and operational needs.  To ensure that the audit would be effective, administrators developed a model based in part on international quality management practices.  Discusses the steps taken in the facilities audit process.
