Integrated pest management (IPM) is the utilization of chemical, biological, and cultural controls in an organized attempt to reduce the pest popupulation, with emphasis on synchonizing these approaches with the natural environment in order to cause the least amount of disruption to the ecological system.  Discusses IPM's goals and provides examples of IPM approaches.  Includes case study of LIMP approach to the California oakworm problem at the University of California, Berkeley.
