To develop a truly effective, bottom-line-oriented lighting upgrade, adopt a Renaissance-type approach to the topic by learning more about what lighting is used for within and around your campus, considering the impacts of more effective lighting, and calculating the benefits' value. Describes high-benefit lighting; its application at Central Michigan University, Bryant College, a Massachusetts elementary school, and Merrimack College; and working with a firm familiar with the concept.
