Facility Asset Management column. New standards improve the quality of education while drastically exacerbating existing space shortages. A cost effective way to meet the demand is to analyze existing space inventories to uncover new possibilities for the reuse or recyling of current space. Inventories should identify the basic actions required to reuse space and qualify their availability.
