"Large Schools Could Get DOE Refund for Past Oil Purchases"

APPA Update news item. As the result of a recent policy adjustment, the Department of Energy is issuing cash refunds to consumers who purchased petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, and heating oil between August 1973 and January 1981. The refunds are estimated at $.0008 per gallon, or $800 per 1 million gallons of products. Provides application information.
