Culture is the “glue” that unites the staff, even when leadership is not present. It’s important to accept that culture needs to be designed, guided, and nurtured. The critical first building block of creating culture (discussed in Part I), is to carefully select the values that we want to represent it. This next building block, is to develop a strategy for creating the culture around our selected values.
