APPA members started identifying themselves regionally in the early 1950s withthe founding of six North American-based regions, Easter (ERAPPA), Southeastern (SRAPPA), Midwest (MAPPA, Central (CAPPA), Rocky Mountain (RMA), and Pacific Coast (PCAPPA) each possess the rich and deep histories and traditions of their respective regions.
