Reports on survey conducted by Johnson Controls in cooperation with APPA which concluded that a program of planned maintenance can result in substantial cost savings, particularly in the area of energy. Examines survey results, how energy savings indicated in the survey can be achieved, and ways in which a computer-aided maintenance system can be used to enhance savings in energy and other areas.
