Report on activities of California State University, San Bernardino, a recipient of APPA's 2007 Award for Excellence.  Describes Cal State San Bernardino's Facilities Services Department, which participates in the university system's Quality Improvement Program and uses a balanced scorecard to define plans and strategies for financial, customer perspective, internal process perspective, and innovation and learning goals.  Activities include at least once a year visits by Facilities Services leadership to each campus building to meet with occupants and document concerns; annual assessment of campus perception of the Facilities Services department; and quarterly staff appreciation breakfasts. Includes photo of staff receiving their Award for Excellence at the APPA 2007 meeting in Baltimore, Maryland in July.
