"Award for Excellence Recognizes the Best of the Best"

Reports on the 2007 winners of APPA's highest institutinal honor, the Award for Excellence in Facilities Management.  The AFE award is based on a set of criteria which include leadership, strategic and operational planning, customer focus, information and analysis, development and management of human resources, process management, and performance results.  The institutional winners are California State University San Bernardino; Harrisburg Area Community College; North Carolina State University; University of Central Oklahoma; and Utah State University.
