Knowledge Builders column. Continues previous discussion of the Reynolds' CFaR research project on "The Impact of Facilities on the Recruitment and Retention of Students." This column examines the demographic differences of Canadian students by gender. In general the data show that there are statistical differences in importance and interest in various institutional characteristics and facilities between men and women attending Canadian institutions, as there were with students attending U.S. institutions. Tables offer a comparison between U.S. and Canadian responses and include comparative analysis of gender versus institutional characteristics, comparactive analysis of gender versus importance of facilities, and what students viewed as important to see during a campus visit
