"APPA's Thought Leaders Summit"

Executive Summary column. With the sponsorship of Carter & Burgess, Inc., APPA has created an annual Thought Leaders Summit to engage in a discussion of  major issues impacting college and university facilities and to better inform educational facilities professionals on alternative ways to approach these problems and concerns.  Discusses the first summit held May 2006 which examined the top ten facilities issues and their relationship to major higher education trends.  Available in print and electronic form in January 2007, a full report of the summit documents the critical role of facilities in enhancing higher education leaders' ability to shape their institutions' future.
