"Women, Work, and APPA: It's Not Just Program--It's People!"

Membership Matters column. APPA's director of member services interviewed seven women about their experiences with APPA and work in facilities management experience for this question-and-answer article. Those interviewed were: Anita Bailey, Phillips Exeter Academy; Ada Baldwin, University of North Carolina--Greensboro; Pamela Graham, Texas State University--Marcos; Debbie Guillen-Aguilar, University of Southern California; Elaine Lee-Price, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology; Maggie Quinn, Regis University; and Mary Vosevich, University of New Mexico. The respondents talked about what influenced them to find employment in facilities management, the challenges working in facilities management, their proudest accomplishments, advice to other women interested in facilities management careers, and perception of APPA in regard to women and leadership opportunities.
