"It's Not Easy Being Green--But These Award Winners Were Up To It!"

APPA News column item.  Announces awards presented by the U.S. Green Building Council to outstanding leaders in green building design and construction at the Green-build International Conference and Expo in November 2003 in Pittsburgh.  Categories included Green Building Business, USGBC Leadership, Green Public Service Government, Green Public Service Non-government, and Local/Regional Leadership.  Among the winners was Raymond Cole, Environmental Research Group of the University of British Columbia, for his sustained commitment to environmental research and teaching and adaptation of USGBC criteria to the Canadian framework, and Vivian Loftness, Carnegie Mellon University, for her work in the School of Architecture and for leading the development of the BIDS Tool.
