"A Residential Facilities Makeover"

In 1958, the State University College at Oneonta, New York responded to the passage of the National Defense Education Act by building its first dormitory. In the subsequent years, thirteen additional dormitories were built. By the early 1990s, the college recognized the need to upgrade the dormitories and began to do so with the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York. Describes rehabilitation plans, including upgrading facilities, installing computer labs, switching from military-style chow lines to food courts, and the necessity of high-compression schedule projects.
