Describes the implementation of project teams at Purdue University. Called the Quality Improvement Initiative, the effort represented a sweeping change in how in-house construction was managed from beginning to end. Began with discussions on how to improve customer service through improvements to the project management team. Covers analysis of problem and possible solutions, employee involvement group's role, organizational chart, and project team features and activities.
