Taken from author's keynote address at the 1995 APPA Annual Meeting.  Explains the concept of servant leadership and calls APPA members to a life of servant leadership.  Among servant leadership's components is the idea that a servant leader focuses on service rather than power.  Provides examples of servant leadership, including the character Atticus Finch (portrayed by Gregory Peck in the movie) in Harper Lee's novel, To Kill a Mockingbird.  Compares servant leadership to Peter Drucker's emphasis on contributing and explains servant leadership's relevance and meaning.  Lists the paradoxical commandments of leadership.
