Knowing that custodial cleaning might be hit with personnel reductions in the near future, the facilities staff conducted a custodial study in 1992 using the new APPA staffing guidelines and developed a cleaning plan based on the findings.  Discusses the seven phases of the custodial study, implementing changes, impact of the changes, benefits of reorganization, and customer service and satisfaction.  Includes reorganization chart and staffing requirement worksheets for basic science building at five levels of cleanliness.
