Author: Allen, Ralph O.
Published In: Proceedings of the 1991 Educational Conference
Date: 1991

Presentation at APPA's 78th Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida. Discusses the importance of information in dealing with environmental, health and safety issues, particularly on the small college campus. Describes 2 types of needed information: regulations and consequences of failure to comply and an institution's own facilities, operations, personnel, and materials. Encourages small colleges to start collecting key information and storing it with simple database programs.  Includes information to retain in a database, hazardous materials management, training, asbestos, locations likely to contain suspect materails, and underground storage tanks.
