Covers ozone depletion and the Montreal Protocol and the 1990 amendment to the Clear Air Act. Drawing from the author's experiences at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign examines CFC tax and its impact on service costs, inventorying equipment and refrigerant "charge," restricting purchases of new refrigeration equipment, conversions and replacements, recordkeeping requirements, and refrigerant recovery, recycling, and conservation.  Includes references.
