Discusses the University of New Mexico's pest management plan and how it might be modified to fit other institutional settings.  Covers development of a policy statement; setting management objectives for each site; inspecting, identifying, and monitoring pest populations on a regular basis; setting action thresholds for each pest; applying IPM strategies for control; and evaluating results and keeping written records.  Includes mechanical controls, chemical controls, nonchemical controls, insect growth regulators in bait form, and classes of common insecticides.
