Thinking about facilities management as a seamless web of interlinked activities can lead to the identification of partnership opportunities in a range of unexpected areas. Discusses innovative local, national, and international partnerships entered into by Griffith University's Office of Facilities Management, including surveys, fire management expertise, and computer hardware and support. Reports that construction contracts, cleaning and security, and small minor works were identified as the most suitable for partnering by Australasian APPA conferees.
