Presentation at APPA's 82nd Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Discusses the facilities department's surprise and reaction when Georgetown College announced its intension to search for contractors to provide maintenance, housekeeping, book store, and food services.  Describes how the department decided to help the president more clearly understand what the facilities department did and how it related to the money he had been told he could save by outsourcing. Includes gathering information comparing Georgetown with other similar institutions, presenting the information to the president, and decision by Board of Trustees not to contract.  Includes budget information, program evaluation form, structural decision process chart, and additional information presented to make their case.
