The object of the preliminary analysis is to make a crude estimate of the cost of cogenerated electricity for your campus and then compare that estimate with the cost of purchased electricity. The assumptions used to draw the graphs pictured in Chapter 2: Conducting a Campus Needs Analysis are presented here along with additional figures to aid the preliminary analysis.
