To supplement an annual formal facilities management evaluation program, a system of monthly performance indicators can be implemented.  This system can be used by physical plant organizations to measure their own performance against generally recognized and/or locally developed targets and goals.  Explains the need for a performance indicator program and details 24 performance indicators.  Indicators include such evaluations as measuring shop schedule compliance, preventive maintenance task completion, major equipment incommission rate, and quality acceptance rate.
