Discusses how the student recruiter at St. Mary's University was responsible for the renovation of the campus science building, Garni Science Hall.  Describes the work that needed to be done, developing an implementation plan, researching equipment and facilities, development of resources, fundraising, and actual renovations.  Covers university's decision to do their own design, contracting, and construction maintenance, allow the building's occupants to design the interior of their assigned spaces, designate the roof as a memorial project, and using an override timer scheme for controlling the building's temperatures.
