Emporia State University delivers the steam to heat ints campus via steam tunnels, which were insultated with asbestos materials when originally installed. Concerned with the potential exposure to asbestos materials, the university explored ways to correct the problem. Decided to wrap the insulation with metal to protect it from dripping water, using surplus aluminum sheets from the university's offset printing presses. Describes the procedure and costs.
