“It’s not only what we do now that matters; it’s the path we’ve established for the next generation that will be our legacy,” states Darnell Mack, author of this article. “Our goal is to do more than keep the buildings running right now. This university has been around for over 100 years. With some help from the stewards of today, it will be around for another 100 years or more for the stewards of tomorrow.”  This is her vision, but she is not alone.
