Article provides an overview of current campus sustainability models and introduces the newest and most comprehensive sustainability measurement tool developed by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). AASHE launched the Sustainability, Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS) pilot program this year. The remainder of the article provides detailed information over this new program.
