"Taking the Bull by the Horn"

Code Talkers column. Compares the sudden appearance of new code regulations to the time when he was unexpectedly thrown by a bull while concentrating on repairing a fence. Reviews some recent codes, including NFPA70 and the new requirements outlined in the proposed 9th Edition of UL864. In order not to be surprised by new codes, it is important to share any information you learn on new codes with the APPA office so they can disseminate the information to other members and participate in code and ASHRAE committees.
