Examines offices as a space use, reviews and provides guidelines and illuatrations on office size, and describes and discusses policies on the allocation and usage of offices. Discusses the importance of offices, their percentage of campus space, office space planning and management, furniture layouts, and NCES codes for offices. Recommends that campuses develop their own guidelines regarding office size; office spaces accomodate technology needs; guidelines recognize the need for meeting and conference space; and policies detail office space entitlement and decoration. Includes diagrams, tables, and footnotes.
