At Dallas Theological Seminary, an academic department (Pastoral Ministries), a communication and information technology department (Audio Visual), and a business support department (Custodial Services) teamed together to produce a six-minute video entitled "An Army of One," which is being used to train custodial staff in the proper methods of restroom cleaning. Christopher Graham, director of utilities and custodial services at DTS, describes how this effort satisfied the Effective & Innovative Practices Award criteria, covering institutional benefits and results; innovation, creativity, and originality; portability; and management commitment and employee involvement.
