"Establishing a Student Chapter of APPA"

Membership Matters column.  Believes that although college/university students are being trained in facility management, few are receiving information about higher education facility management and thus are not drawn to the higher education sector.  To overcome this deficiency, Christensen recommends establishing student APPA chapters that can work closely with the physicial facilities departments on their campuses.  Drawing on his experience at Brigham Young University, outlines the basic steps in establishing a student APPA chapter and discusses the benefits for students and facilities professionals.
