Provides descriptions of the activities of the ten winners of APPA's first Award for Excellence in Facilities Management, presented at APPA's 75th Annual Meeting In Washington, D.C. in July 1988.  Winners were Brigham Young University (national winner--large campus); Medical College of Georgia (national winner--small campus); Rochester Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, Michigan State University, University of Oklahoma, Brigham Young University, and University of Idaho (regional winners--large campus); and University of Maryland/Baltimore, Medical College of Georgia, Saint Mary's University, and The Colorado College (regional winners--small campus).
