Discusses APPA/NACUBO's The Decaying American Campus, attention to facilities by other higher education groups, realization of the importance of facilities' image, disability awareness, and assessment and accreditation as a means of promoting and ensuring quality in facilities. Devotes majority of speech to latter factor.
